The L2 switch doesn't have VLAN capability (I can easily supply a L3 switch). For the dozen users I didn't foresee the need for a VLAN. Note also I tried two different TZ200. One at a time I connected them to the cable modem. I do not get a indicator light showing connected on either the TZ200 or the cable modem. By LAN interface you mean the gateway address (192.168.1.1) or the public address? I can ping the gateway IP with no drops. Thanks, Darryl
